What is Juneteenth?
Juneteenth, observed on June 19th, is a monumental date for African American communities in the United States, marking the end of slavery back in 1865. Although the Emancipation Proclamation was announced in 1863, it took more than two years and the continuation of the Civil War before slavery officially ended in all Confederate states on June 19, 1865.

Today is a day of celebration. ❤️

C-MILL is assembled and ready to change lives! Training tomorrow! Changing the face of rehab soon! We couldn’t be more excited!

One step closer to completion. The C-Mill comes complete with a lift that can offload up to 400 pounds. This will allow us to serve a larger population with this amazing innovation. The C-Mill will work for many diagnosis’s. Including SCI, TBI, post concussion treatment, ortho and neurological needs-just to name a few! Stay tuned!

The C-MILL is here!!! It will be assembled over the next 3 days and we will have 8 hours of hands on training Thursday. Here is a sneak peak of the arrival! Did I mention that Centered Care Therapy Services is one of only two places in state of Michigan to have this groundbreaking piece of machinery? IT’S TRUE!

We are excited to announce the opening of our third Neuro Rehabilitation residential program. Centered Care would love for you to come tour our new space and be able to see first hand what we are able to offer. They are settling right in. As the construction is nearing the end- Prince, George and Elton are keeping a close eye on the progress. They cannot wait to meet our patients!

Some times you just know. I spent the day today with this powerhouse of a woman. She has created the most amazing respite program! Rosie Place! Stay tuned. Big things are coming. Thanks Tieal- we are going to do great things together. Xx

Tomorrow I will be heading to South Bend, IN to tour and learn about A Rosie Place. Centered Care is dedicated to supporting people in every journey of life- from birth to end of life. We are embarking on a journey of love. In the near future Centered Care will be working on forming a Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care Program, including eventually a Pediatric Hospice House. This will be a non-profit. With the help of many MD’s, Nurses and other support staff we will make every second count and surround the entire family with love and peace. It’s almost spring!

Centered Care is growing- we wanted to share with you some updates.

-Deerwood Circle- our 4th and 5th post-acute AFC located in Dewitt should be licensed and ready to take patients by March 15th.
This is a unique property that is in the middle of 8.5 wooded acres. This property has a 4,000sf pole barn that will afford our patients many opportunities that will include gardening, wood shop and we are exploring the possibility of a small animal farm.
***Call us for a tour! You will love it.

-Centered Care is excited and proud to be opening an outpatient therapy center, our goal is 3/31/2024.
CENTERED CARE THERAPY SERVICES will offer:
Physical Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Wheelchair fittings
Exercise Physiology
Recreational Therapy
Music Therapy

We are in the process of getting Quad A and CARF accreditation and undergoing a huge revamping of a beautiful freestanding building at 1000 North Homer Street. Come check us out. We will be accepting a variety of public and private insurances, private pay and auto no fault. . CENTERED CARE THERAPY SERVICES will service all pediatrics, orthopedic, neuromuscular, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury needs.
