The Michigan Insurance Coalition is an association of insurance companies based in Michigan and around the country that employ thousands of Michigan workers.
Seven state-wide organizations have banded together to fight against an attempt by some legislators to increase the tax on auto insurance by $80 million. This increase will raise rates by $40 per car. The bills are currently in the State House of Representatives. If you oppose this tax, it's important to contact your State Representative.
If you don't know who he or she is or don't have the contact information, just click here, http://house.michigan.gov/MHRPublic/ fill in your address and the site will give you the contact information.
