The Rivalry Continues
On the eve of the UofM vs. MSU football game in East Lansing on October 20, these two rival schools will face off in a similar fashion with one big difference: no pads. The inaugural Battle for the Mitten will be a no mercy grudge match between the University of Michigan and Michigan State University rugby clubs.
Born of the idea that rugby is on a course set to captivate audiences all across the US one day, Battle for the Mitten pits two of the biggest, oldest, and most prestigious names in college sports against one another on an unprecedented scale. For the first time, MSU Rugby will take on UofM Rugby under the lights at Cooley Law School Stadium in Lansing, Michigan.
Whether you bleed green or maize and blue, start your rivalry weekend off right with a thrilling game filled with exciting action and big hits.
