I really feel it for our race track owners and promoters right now, honestly everyone involved in the sport. This season has already been one of the worst ever... Brandon has the economy so screwed up, gas is over $5/gal and going up, food prices have nearly doubled, labor expenses are shooting up if you can even find someone to work, stock market is crashing, crypto is crashing, inflation is out of control & zapping savings. Competitors and Spectators are facing unprecedented pressures at home, at their jobs. Race tires are scarce or unaffordable. Tensions are ridiculously high and it's gonna get worse. Top it all off, mother nature is completely tusseled with non-stop rain or threats of rain over next 4 weeks straight. People are lashing out. Fans, racers, suppliers, promoters, vendors alike. We are all in this mess together, try to remember that.

Come join us at Merritt Speedway this Saturday and Sunday for two great nights of racing. This Saturday, pit gates open at 3:30pm, gates at 4pm, draw cut-off is at 5:15pm, and the races start at 6:30pm. Saturday night, the late models will be racing for $1,500. On Sunday, the races begin at 6:00pm with the Late Models racing for $10,000 in the Allstar Performance Challenge Series race! This will be a memorable Memorial Day weekend at Merritt and one you won't want to miss. We look forward to seeing you here!!
