This Sunday, join us and sew for a great cause!

🕕 Time: 4-8 PM
🏠 Location: Lansing Makers Network (2730 Alpha Access St.)

We will be sewing pouches for Helping Women Period. We'll provide fabric and sewing machines, just bring your hands to help! All skill levels welcome.

Please bring your own machine if you're sew inclined! We have a limited number on site

We will also accept donations that will be donated to folks that need them.
Accepted donations:
Pads, Tampons, Liners, Menstrual cups, discs, and underwear.

With one ticket ($15 if you buy ahead!), you’ll be able to make 2 gift tags. Reusable year after year, they are beautiful on special gifts, bottles of wine, homemade jams or honey, bath salts, homemade treats, etc. 🔨💝

FAQ:
Is it historically accurate? 😆 Absolutely not.
Do I need to bring anything? Nope! We'll have a bucket out for donations if you are feeling generous. If you bring a small enough item we'll chuck it as well!
Can I fire it? 🏹 No, but you can decide which pumpkin fate has decided to destroy next.
Can it shoot anything big? 🎃 Nah, it is only good at firing things up to a couple of lbs, but we have some small gourds, walnuts, and some candy to test out.
Why should I come? 😎 Because we are SHOOTING A SIEGE WEAPON and that's kinda nifty.

A trebuchet was recently donated to LMN, and to celebrate, we'll be chucking mini-pumpkins in the parking lot!

Bring your family, some small gourds, and watch things get smashed.
We'll be available to give tours of your local makerspace if you have been curious to check out the new building.
