On Friday, March 15, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will be hosting a FREE sensory-friendly open rehearsal of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf. Through this rehearsal, the DSO aims to make itself accessible to people who may find it difficult to tolerate the often-stoic nature of orchestral performances. Each character in Peter and the Wolf is represented by a different instrument in the orchestra, so this event would be a great way to introduce your loved ones to classical music!
The rehearsal will take place at Orchestra Hall. There will be some pre-rehearsal activities from 1-2 pm, followed by the rehearsal at 2 pm.
