Have you seen conflicting stories regarding changes due to Loan Level Price Adjustments (LLPAs)? LLPAs are risk-based pricing adjustments charged during loan origination that vary based on credit score, Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio, type of mortgage, and other factors. Yes, LLPA fees for Conventional loan borrowers with higher credit scores slightly increased this year, however, the fees are still greater for borrowers with lower credit.
