🚨🚨Tamalito Fest POST-PONED🚨🚨
Hello,
My name is David Ovalle and I am the creator of Tamalito Festival Laredo. First of all I want to apologize and let you all know that Tamalito Festival is being POST-PONED for a later date, a BETTER DATE! The reason for postponing is because we were battling the weather. 60% of rain 🌧and it is gonna be cold 🥶. Now being that Las Palmas Food Trucks and Park the venue we decided to host it at is an open venue. The air hits harder and it will be colder that what the temperature says being an open area. We want first of all the ensure the well being of everyone that attends the festival and make sure they are comfortable at our event. It would NOT be fair to our VENDORS or COMPETITORS to be there in the cold, freezing and shaking with their families. It will also not be fair for our artist that we had booked to perform in the cold and we know that when its cold, people don't really go out the majority will go, eat, then leave to get warm, which is understandable. But it will most definitely not be fair mainly to our guest who go to attend Tamalito Fest. We want families to enjoy the EXPERIENCE, the food, the fun for all, and the music. The main reason for Tamalito Festival is to do something fun for our community here in Laredo and second give light to those who make really good tamales in our city that sell from home, on the streets, online (social medias) and don't have a restaurant or food truck. We want to be the reason your business gets future sales and help you grow. So this is not the end and I (David Ovalle) PROMISE you that once the date is picked we will come back better and stronger, especially to make up for the post-poning.
