Laredo invited to documentary sneak peek and fundraiser for “Traviesa: The Documentary” A special event to support “Traviesa: The Documentary,” a film about Olympian Jennifer Lozano’s journey to Paris this summer will be hosted this week.

Hello Spring! The Laredo Center for the Arts wish you a very happy Spring. Come and see our latest Exhibits featuring art by Olivia Flores Ortiz and Cruz Ortiz Art and our ARTcouch featuring the photography of Pepe Garcia.

We are kicking off the year with not one but two shows at the Laredo Center for the Arts this upcoming month!
Where there’s tristeza, you will find love and beauty in all corners.
In the main gallery floor Cruz Ortiz will be exhibiting his solo show, Danza de Los Fantasticos y El Super Mix.🌵Upstairs in the Mezzanine, the mystical storyteller Olivia Ortiz will be exhibiting her solo show Cosmic Lines: From There to Here featuring her abstract anatomical landscape paintings.
This combination will be a unique blend that will have you imagining different moments in life whether with family, friends, or with your own company.

Join us March 1st, for the beautiful first Friday CaminARTE. Our favorite day of of the month! The show will be running from 7PM-10PM. We hope you all can stop by to visit us!

Not only will it be the last night for the current exhibition ("Chai’n Brai Laika Daimon") curated by Los Outsiders, We will also be presenting Laredo's First major sticker show! [R]evolucionarte will feature a TON of sticker artists from the US and abroad. If your into sticker culture or don't know what that is you should come and check it out!

Happy New Year everyone! We're starting off the first week of the year with a Kid's Art Studio session this Saturday, January 6th from 12PM-1:30PM.

🎇Bring your nieces, nephews, siblings, or your kids to enlighten them with their own formations of color and texture! They will be working on their own version of a collage on wood. Materials will be included.

🎆This class will be inspired by one of Los Outsider's exhibiting Artists, Robert Moya.

🌠Suggested Donation for the class will be $10, but anything is appreciated! We hope to see you all this weekend!
