This is when we use filler to ensure light reflects off of the face in the most flattering way.

You may recognize the beautiful individual above as our brilliant clinician .by.ali and this was her first introduction to filler! We completed Session 1 to restore a heart-shape to the face by feminizing the chin, restoring light to the cheeks, smoothing the temples, and hydrating her lips. She is a bit swollen and everything will settle in the next few days (or as long as two weeks).

Additionally rewarding was training on a unique approach to chin and chin shadow, and watching her deliver an incredible outcome safely and painlessly! LET’S TALK ABOUT POST-SURGICAL REFINEMENT!

When you are a patient at Bare Skin Marin, we are extremely direct about what we can effectively treat non-surgically, and what conditions are better suited to plastic surgery.

The absolutely beautiful and wonderful patient above is featured in both photos after surgery. She wanted to know what I could do for her excess neck skin laxity — and I told to get a neck lift. And she did! Both photos above are after surgery.

Once her skin was sufficiently tight we were able to finish balancing her facial structure and optimizing the appearance of her skin.

💉Masseter slimming/full face tox—> As a self proclaimed “jaw clencher” her jawline had become wider than her cheek width. I performed full-face tox including her masseter to narrow the width of her jawline.

Above are examples of non-surgical rhinoplasties of varying degrees achieved using filler to improve the appearance of the nose. We can use filler to camouflage a dorsal hump, improve asymmetry, and even lift a droopy tip. Earlier this summer I travelled to attend a symposium led by “The Nose Guy” of where I learned how to treat this central part of the face in the safest way possible. Contrary to popular belief you CAN start, continue, or complete laser sessions during the summer season.

As long as you practice (you’re already impeccable 😉) skin hygiene - ie wearing a hat/rashguard and copious sunscreen, and avoiding direct sun exposure to treated areas - it is okay!

The absolutely gorgeous patient above (who I am honored to call a dear friend) is as smart, talented, and FUN as she is stunning.

Years of fierce tennis competition resulted in moderate to severe lentigo/dyschromia, more conventionally known sun damage. Thanks to a regimen of medical grade skin care, laser, and biostimulation we are on the path to reversing and restoring her glowy radiance.

Her treatment to date has included:

I am delighted to introduce the Medical Directors of Bare Skin Marin— Plastic Surgeons Arman Serebrakian, MD and Armen Serebrakian, MD. Collectively our team brings over 50 years of experience in Aesthetic Medicine.

Arman T. Serebrakian, MD, is a Harvard and UCLA-trained plastic surgeon who specializes in plastic surgery, hand and upper extremity surgery, aesthetic surgery, and microsurgery. Dr. Serebrakian received his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, then completed the prestigious Harvard Plastic Surgery residency program where he trained at world class institutions and served on the program’s Executive Committee during his chief residency year. He then completed a dedicated fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microsurgery at UCLA. Dr. Serebrakian, formerly an NCAA and professional alpine ski racer, has also competed internationally including for the University of Colorado ski team as well as at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. He currently serves as the MarinHealth and UCSF Health clinic’s dedicated plastic surgeon in San Rafael and Greenbrae, CA.

Armen Serebrakian, MD is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon and a head and neck surgeon with over 35 years of experience serving Marin and the San Francisco Bay Area. He completed residency in head and neck otolaryngology at Henry Ford Hospital followed by a dedicated advanced fellowship in facial plastic surgery at the Minnesota Head and Neck Clinic.
