Name and place of employment?
✅Robert Selby,
Owner of Camplyf RV Repair and Rentals; and
Special Agent in Charge (Ret.)
U.S. Federal Air Marshal Service

What is your favorite Hobby?
✅The Camp Life (Camplyf) is what I love. I also play golf (badly), traveled the world and the Seven Seas, but mostly spending quality time with family and friends.

If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
✅That is a tough one. I love to eat and I love just about every food there is. So, I am going to cheat a little…Surf and Turf!

What is your favorite thing about Las Cruces?
✅I love the warm weather and the fact that I can drive a few hours and be in the mountains. But, the wonderful people that make up this place are what makes this a great city.

Why did you become an ambassador?
✅I became an ambassador to meet new people, to learn more about and advocate for the local business community, and to learn from other business owners how to be more successful in this market.

Meet Laurie Findley on this weeks Ambassador Spotlight!

Name and place of employment?
✅Laurie Findley, Double Eagle de Mesilla

What is your favorite Hobby?

If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
✅Anything pasta!!

What is your favorite thing about Las Cruces?
✅Being born and raised in Las Cruces helps to make it my home, and there is No Place Like Home! I love that it is easy to get around from one place to another without a ton of traffic.

Why did you become an ambassador?
✅I started as an Ambassador in 1986 and then moved to Colorado in 1990. When I returned back to Las Cruces, I immediately got involved with the Las Cruces Chamber. It was a great way to meet new people and businesses in the community that I would be working with. I loved the group and their mission and wanted to help make a difference in our business and local community.

Meet Brandi Selby, Secretary/Treasurer for the Ambassadors, on this weeks Ambassador Spotlight!

Name and place of employment?
✅Brandi Selby, American Document Services – a full-service Records Management Company.

What is your favorite Hobby?
✅Travelling with my family. I absolutely love going on adventures – checking out the local culture, tasting the local cuisine (as I am a huge foodie), and exploring new places makes my heart happy plus I love showing my daughter that there is so much out there in this big world.

If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
✅German food – give me all the schnitzel with fresh squeezed lemon juice and I am happy!

What is your favorite thing about Las Cruces?
✅The people – hands down. This place is so friendly and the amazing people we have met here just make it such a great place to live.

Why did you become an ambassador?
✅I became an ambassador because both my father, Rick Jackson, and my sister, April Tate, were both Conquistadors (now called Ambassadors) and were always telling me how important it was as a business owner to get involved in the community and get to know other business owners and businessmen and women in the community. As soon as I moved to Las Cruces in February of 2022, I quickly followed in their footsteps and was a Yellow Pepper by April of 2022 and I have not looked back. It is by far one of the best decisions I have made since joining the business community in Las Cruces. Becoming an Ambassador has made such a positive impact on my life, and I truly believe has allowed me to make a positive impact in our community.
