We had a fantastic day at Lumina last Thursday! 🌟 Students from West Charleston Enrichment Academy joined us to kick off our intergenerational program, Love, Laugh, & Lumina! 🌼 Despite not having residents yet, the kids had a blast learning about Senior Living and Memory Care communities, trying out our VR headsets (check out the video of them swimming with dolphins!) and having a blast with Leo, our social robot (see the video of them singing & dancing with him!). We're partnering with West Charleston Enrichment Academy to offer an elective that bridges generations - Love, Laugh, and Lumina. Students come to our memory care community for engaging activities with our residents, fostering positive connections and reducing negative stereotypes.
