The Challenged Athletes Foundation has opened their annual grant application for 2024. If you are interested in adaptive sporting equipment, be sure to get your application in early.

Here is something that is not readily known: CAF has partnered with Össur to provide sports prostheses through a separate grant which is available YEAR ROUND.

Announcement: The 2024 CAF Annual Grant Application is opening on September 1st!

CAF’s flagship grant program aims to remove the barriers that exist between adaptive athletes and their pursuit of sport and fitness. Applicants can apply for a grant for Sport Expenses or Equipment, and the link to apply can be found at challengedathletes.org/grants. The application will close on November 3rd 2023 at 5PM PST. 33 years ago today, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law.

This historic civil rights law prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in all areas of public life, including employment, education, transportation, and public accommodations.

The ADA has made a huge difference in the lives of millions of Americans with disabilities. It has helped them to live more independent and fulfilling lives. Happy ADA Day!
