With the New Year right around the corner, a lot of folks will be making resolutions. I personally don't have things I would like to change per se, but do have a few goals when it comes to this side of my life. I'll share a few with y'all.

1. New content for y'all, this one is probably the highest on my list.
2. Exceed the profit made this year by at least $25,000
3. Become statistically/analytically better as a player.

Topic: Discipline and what it means to you.

I'm interested in what the community thinks on this so I will keep my bit to just one piece of the puzzle.

When it comes to discipline with me there are many factors that I consider, my personal number 1 is knowing when to walk away. I either have my profit and am looking for an exit point or things just weren't going right that day and I hit my stop loss.

It's Monday, so another weekend wrap-up is in order.

Unfortunately, I was a bit under the weather with a major bout of food poisoning so was unable to get out on the town......so......today we will just have a discussion on the same topic.

Not being prepared to go to the table is just as detrimental as not coming with enough ammo.

What are your thoughts? Do you just play whenever, however you're feeling? or do you take calculated approaches with rest, focus, etc?

Every great pitcher in the MLB had an equally amazing pitching coach. So you have to ask yourself why you don't give yourself the same treatment.
There are plenty of things that we, as shooters, cannot see from our perspective of the shot, having an extra set of eyes never hurts.

The end of an era and the beginning of another....as most of us know, Ballys is being rebranded as a Horseshoe property. Signage for Ballys is now coming down in preparation for the new signage....On a more personal note, I'm a little partial to the "horseshoe" brand. The closest casino we had back in Kentucky was of the horseshoe variety, loved cutting my teeth in the casino world in that place!!!!

Jon came to see us over the weekend to get his grip/shot lined out. We also built his a custom betting strategy to fit his bankroll and allow him to have a little fun at the tables, while getting some profit at the same time.

Just wanted to touch on a topic KD and I were discussing this morning…. Bankroll management, the importance of it, and playing to your bankroll. Being an ex-Army grunt I tend to relate a lot of things to my time in the service, and this happens to be one of them. Without all the other intricacies of my entire betting strategy, etc in play, the simplest way I can put it is: “Don’t go to war without enough ammo, and make your shots count”. Be smart, be realistic with what you’re profit point is, know how and what you need to do to get to that profit point. Have discipline, know when to walk away (taking profit or stop loss).

Good Morning King Dice Army!!!
It's another fabulous Monday in Las Vegas, which means it's time for the weekend wrap-up. Saw a lot of good action at the tables as well as some really poor action. I didn't play (as I don't play on weekends on The Strip) but was able to spectate on a number of tables. Some folks wonder why I don't play weekends....for me, it's simple. I look for the best conditions for play (not many at the table to be able to get the dice back quick, 3 or less people on the table, MUST be a table that I consider an advantage table for my shot), usually you have a bunch of drunk folks, no etiquette following, etc. which is all fine and dandy because it creates a great atmosphere for players who just come to enjoy themselves. That's what Vegas is about, your experience.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. While I was out casing the tables, I couldn't help but think that a lot of the players I watched were exposing their bankroll too much and for too long. I also witnessed 5-6 people buy-in with $100 on a $25 table and were highly irritated when they lost their entire buy-in with one roll of the dice.

So let's get some feedback on what y'all think.

Timeframe - Looking at January

Location - Las Vegas, NV

Casino - Will not release that information publicly

Cost - Roughly $3000 per player

Table min/max - To be discussed with those who are 100% going to be there.

Things it WILL be - 12ft Table (goldilocks table) not hard, not soft. not bouncy, just right.
