Thank you Robert E Lake Elementary School for allowing me the pleasure of being a part of career day. Being able to spend my lunch break with these amazing Kindergarteners brought so much joy to my day. Their excitement was contagious and to hear about their future dreams was so fun - we have future police officers, football players, cheerleaders, mermaids and chefs! Thanks also to our Marshall for joining me - the kids were very excited to hear from him too!

Had a great week at the District Court Judge’s Conference - thank you AOC for putting on a great event and thank you to all of the presenters. Ended the week by supporting CASA in and child abuse prevention month.

I am so honored to receive the endorsement of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 1977 for the upcoming election. It was such a pleasure visiting with them, seeing their beautiful facility and learning about how they build our local community.

It is always a special day when I can attend the graduation of our new CASA volunteers during lunch. Thank you to all of our wonderful CASA volunteers for all you do in making a huge difference in the lives of children.

Such a fabulous evening at the 21st annual Storybook Gala for Spread The Word Nevada. The impact of this extraordinary organization on the children of our community is beyond words. Thank you Spread the Word for supporting childhood literacy in our community and thank you Judge Gregory G. Gordon, Family Court Dept. C for inviting us to such a fun event!

Had a great visit at Local 525 today where we toured their amazing facility and learned about all of the opportunities they have available and their community outreach. Thank you Crystal Naegle and Richard Lee for taking the time to show us around.

The Pro Bono Project presents a rare, in-person opportunity to learn from Family Court Judges Gregory Gordon and Regina McConnell about best practices for family law cases.

This free CLE course will be available in-person at Legal Aid Center on Friday, February 23 from 12-1pm. There will be free lunch!

Nevada-licensed or emeritus-certified attorneys can earn 1.0 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) general credit by attending in-person. All attorneys must have an active pro bono case or take on a new pro bono case to receive CLE credit. Select a case at www.lacsn.org/cases.

It’s official - I love my job protecting Nevada families and I intend to keep it!

Today was such an amazing day. I was so honored to be able to speak at the Vegas Stronger Graduation this afternoon. So proud of all the graduates and this new journey of hope that they have chosen. Thank you to Vegas Stronger for the your investment in our community.

As we observe Veterans Day today I want to say thank you to all of our veterans for your sacrifice and service to our wonderful country. Also, a special shout out to my Father and my Uncle, Marines who served in Vietnam. So very thankful for your service!

I had such a wonderful time yesterday morning at the Latin Chamber of Commerce. I truly enjoy being at their monthly meetings and meeting so many people in our community. It is truly a joy. It’s always a pleasure seeing my colleagues as well.

Knight Benefit luau was such a fun night. I did not realize that they were the largest Christian school in the United States. I was so honored by the invitation! Thanks for having me.
