Our patient had a painful firm mass on his posterior thigh present for years- he wanted to know what it was & he wanted it gone. • After punching 🥊 into his skin & not being able to visualize the mass, Dr. Greenberg explored the area with serial punches & dissecting scissors- when that effort failed, he created an even larger opening than the original 4mm punch & explored more. His Basal Cell Skin Cancer was biopsies with an excision and after options- radiation ☢️, Mohs micrographic surgery, standard excision and topical fluorouracil were discussed, he opted for the cream.
