The first build of a Creative Awl Trilby fedora. Hand dyed veg tan with north American elk for the accents.

Working on a trilby fedora to understand the build. It's designed by Creative Awl and seems very interesting. Oxblood dye and the butterscotch pieces are Elk.

A lovely piece of Springbuck Antelope Hide from Africa

I have sourced these lovely Bowie Knives. I will be making horizontal sheaths for them over the next several months for sale. The sheath/knife combo price will vary depending on the leather used.

Prototype completed. It's pretty hefty. Burgundy latigo leather with a black dyed veg tan. Red Bison for the keepers.

A custom designed horizontal double throwing knife scabbard starting to come together. This is the prototype for another with giraffe hide and bison.

An added advantage to working in a leather shop I never imagined: A customer had an entire African Giraffe hide gifted to him. 3 weeks after our conversation he dropped off a nice square foot piece of that hide. I'm thinking inlays, and a knife sheath or two. So amazing and more supple than I'd have thought.

Great leather sale at Tandy this weekend: Here's a lovely Gator Belly embossed on chrome tan Bovine Leather. I've also got an entire Wildebeest hide in a medium blue and some SB Foot Boot leather ready for projects. Contact me and we can figure out a quote.
