Update on Orange Crush. She has a lot of healing to do before she can be fixed and adopted out but hopefully is on our way to mend. .

Marmalade and Finnegan were recently adopted and are doing great. These were the two bunnies that were dumped a cage in the trash when a renter vacated the house they were renting. They are doing great and they are with an amazing family. Thank you everyone for supporting us because this is exactly why we do what we do.

Orange Crush and Black Beauty both in first surgeries today at Southern Hills Animal Hospital with Dr.B. Thank you, Denise for always being there to give them a ride.

House Rabbit Society calls on its members and the public to contact Petco and let them know that their decision to begin selling rabbits again is detrimental to rabbits everywhere in the United States. Sign the petition now: change.org/p/end-the-sale-of-rabbits-at-petco-stores-nationwide We encourage you to also write to Petco directly at [email protected] or call their general inquiries line at 877-738-6742.

Petco recently announced that it would sell several designer breeds of rabbits (Teddy Bear, Teacups, and miniature rabbits). Even though Petco states they will only be selling neutered males, this is an insult to all of the shelters and rabbit rescues that daily receive thousands of homeless rabbits, surrendered for a variety of reasons, most of whom are at risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation and lack of education.

Petco should be working directly with shelters and rabbit rescues to promote adoption of homeless pet rabbits. Instead they are working with breeders to sell rabbits born only to be sold for profit. This is tragic news and a step backwards. Petco stopped selling rabbits once. They do not need to do it again.

Las Vegas - Another day, another very vulnerable baby bunny dumped in a local park. This poor bunny was scared to death and hiding, is super tame and would have been killed by either the weather or a dog today. Thankfully, Jerry sprung into action and was able to locate him and grab him. Since here she was hiding under a rock his or her name is Rock for now lol .

❤️💙…Janice & Joe we’re visiting the bunnies & asking of our needs, left and came back with these handled water bottles. Since our barn doesn’t have an indoor water supply we use these to transport our water. ALL donations Big or Small are “Much Needed” & “Always Appreciated”! Thank “You”!🐰🥰

More pictures of these poor bunnies left for dead at a local Las Vegas park, luckily a Good Samaritan saw them and called us today. Luckily we had a couple of adoptions and could squeeze them in.

Three bunnies got adopted today. Bandit to one family and Torie and Lori to another family. All great bunnies and hopefully they found their forever homes.

These four bunnies were adopted last weekend, it didn’t show up on our post because it went out as a reel. Buggs And Avery went out plus two of the three month old Baby Bunnies from the Dumpsite bunny Sunflower that was rescued earlier this year. .

Congratulations to Lori and Torie who are adopted out again. Hopefully this is their forever home this time.

Las Vegas Dog Rescue needing fosters. This crisis will never end until we stop the thousands and thousands of illegal breeders stealing money from taxpayers as they fill our shelters and rescues with unwanted animals. All breeding needs to stop until we control this crisis. And veterinarians need to start reporting anyone having pets over four months old that are not spayed or neutered. If we keep doing the same thing over and over this crisis never ends.

We're facing a heartbreaking crisis. Our rescue is overflowing with 125+ innocent animals, forcing us to put a complete intake hold in place, again. This means we can't rescue any more animals, not even in emergencies until the number of animals in our care drops below 80.

We have 34 dogs needing fosters due to either being in boarding or being scheduled to lose their foster homes soon. Every adoption, foster, or donation brings us one step closer to ending this nightmare. Our community is facing a crisis. Animal abandonment is at an all time high and adoptions are at an all time low 😭
