Glad to visit the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada, a great place for families in Carson City and Carson valley where over 1,500 children can participate in engaging after school programs as well as other fun activities.

The Capitol Commission provides gospel hope and spiritual strength for our government leaders in 23 states. I was honored to welcome them to Carson City and the Nevada State Capitol. Very appreciative they said a prayer for me.

On Patriot Day, we all honor the the nearly 3,000 lives lost when America was attacked on September 11, 2001. Of those who tragically died were hundreds of first responders who risked their lives to save others. We will never forget them.

Wrapping up my 3 day, 8 county tour of the Loneliest Road in America, Highway 50 in Nevada with a final stop at Middlegate for a great hamburger. Met these ladies who ordered the Monster Burger. Going to need some to go boxes. Travel Nevada.

Took a detour off the Loneliest Road in America Tour to visit Gabbs Nevada. Speaking to the entire K-12 class at Gabbs High. Great kids receiving a great education from the principal, teachers a staff. Go Tarantulas.

Visiting the old Berlin Nevada Mining town

Took a detour off the Loneliest Highway in America to visit the Berlin Ichthyosaur Nevada State Park, established in 1957 to protect the fossil locality and the historic mining town of Berlin. Off the beaten path but a great place to see and .

During my trip on the Loneliest Road in America, made a stop off Highway 50 at the Hickison Petroglyph Recreational Area. As chair of Nevada’s Advisory Board on Outdoor Recreation, enjoyed visiting this special place for outdoor enthusiasts.

Thank you to the leaders in Eureka for a Historic Walking Tour of Eureka Nevada. As Chair of Nevada Tourism, I highly encourage all to visit this friendly town, the courthouse, opera house and museum, on the Loneliest Road in America.
