Tis that time of year again. The annual booth of fire awaits us all!!! The Kingdom of Coreathea will be selling TNT fireworks 24/7 beginning June 28th at 8am until July 4th at 11:59pm. Our booth is located in the Smith parking lot off of Sahara and Durango. Address: 8555 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89117. You can’t miss us!

A little about who we are and what we do. Coreathea is a historical re-enactment group dedicated to family, friends, and all aspects of historical renaissance life, including dance, court, fighting, theatre, and the arts. We are so much more than a guild/reenactment group. We are a Family. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization, so your purchase will help support our Renaissance Guild, Kingdom of Coreathea. These proceeds allow us to continue to be the guild that everyone loves at Vegas Faire.

As with every year, we will also have great buy-one/get-one-free offers and new products available while supplies last.

Greetings everyone!

It has been some time since our last post. We're all mostly doing well. We've made it through the crazy floods. Some of our close friends have unfortunately been affected though. Roof or house leaking, interior of the houses flooded. Many folks outside of our circle have been affected as well. Our thoughts are with everyone. It's going to be a process to get back or close to the way things were before but have faith things will work out. We are all so much stronger than we think we are. You got this.

Onto faire related news... the Kingdom has been engaging their creativity with sewing new garments, tabards, building benches and so forth. We are very excited for Faire, as always and only have 39 days left. Huzzah! We are eager to see all of your beautiful faces! October 13th will here before we know it.

Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival would be this Friday 10/7, Saturday 10/8 & Sunday 10/9. We, The Kingdom of Coreathea will be in the Royal Court area. Just look for the black and yellow tents and huge towers! You won't be able to miss us. Please stop by our encampment on Friday, 10/7 at 8pm to bear witness to our splendid Masquerade Ball. We will demonstrate 2 period dances, The Comical Fellow & The Waterfall Waltz, along with 2 audience participation circle dances. We hope everyone is as thrilled to see us as we are to see you! Looking forward to an amazing weekend filled with friends, family, love and merriment. HUZZAH!

With our Faire fast approaching, we'd like to share this fun little thing regarding Faire Speak we put together a few years back. Huzzah!

Speech:
You can easily change a sentence to sound appropriate at the renaissance festival by changing a few verb endings.
Does = Doth or Dost
Take = Takest or Taketh
Slay = Slayeth or Slayest
Bite = Biteth
*Tip* When speaking in first person though, don't make any changes to the endings.

Greetings All!

As many faire folk already know, our long time friends(and Faire neighbor), The Village of Loch Mead have bid a farewell to faire life as a guild. Many have joined ranks in other guilds so you will still see many of them around Faire. Times change and people grow and move on to the next chapter in their lives. We wish them all the absolute best and hope that we'll see some of them even join our ranks.
Now, we have some VERY exciting news to share with you! Their famous towers will still have a presence at Vegas faire however. We, The Kingdom of Coreathea are the proud new owners of those beautiful towers Duncan and Magnus built all those years ago. They are now the Coreathean Towers which will now house our court & throne room/tent. We feel this will now give us a true kingdom and castle feel and aesthetic. We will still have our original spot as well which will be used for the fighting field, theater act, Masquerade Ball, kitchen and eating areas. We & our new towers will be in the same spots for Faire, HUZZAH! We are immensely grateful that our Kingdom has not only grown in land size but by members as well. We are absolutely thrilled to undertake this adventure and we are more excited than ever to share it with everyone! Can't wait to see everyone at Faire! Just 37 more days! HUZZAH!

Greetings all!

It's time for Dance Practice!! Anyone is welcome to join us OR even just pop by to hang out while we practice. It's a ton of fun, come check it out.

Beginning this Wednesday 7/20 at 630pm and continuing every Wednesday thereafter at the same time until Vegas Faire(October 7th-9th) dance practice will commence at Sunset Park by the Southside of the lake(see map below). This will be for the Masquerade Ball that is hosted by us, The Kingdom of Coreathea, typically on the Friday which will be 10/7 at 8pm this year. However, this is not yet set in stone. It very well could be Saturday evening. Once the date & time are locked it, we will let everyone know. No dance experience necessary. The dances will be taught during these practices. We recommend bringing water, comfy shoes and a camping chair or a blanket for the grass to sit during breaks.

When we get closer to Faire we'll have dressed rehearsals so we can do a run through in our garb. No garb? No worries! Many of us have tons of extras and can loan some out.

*NOTE*
Please keep in mind that should you decide to you join in, it is a commitment. You will need to be able to be at Faire on the day of the Masquerade Ball. Ideally we would like you there for rehearsal which has typically been around 3pm in our encampment. At the very least though, be 10-15mins early for the ball itself or more if you'll need help getting dressed.
