SEWING TIP: There are a few ways to apply silicone elastic. Some people use baby powder (it can gunk up your machine) or tear away paper (it’s wasteful). Instead I love using my 6” clear Westcott ruler! It’s see-through, thin enough to fit comfortably under the presser foot, and short enough it’s easy to navigate.
