Helen Meyer Community Center hosted its first kid-centered Mini Market earlier this month. Kids who were interested in entrepreneurship and wanted to earn money sold goods such as crafts, baking, lemonade, and more.

The Sweet Tooth Candy Store was open for business For valentines day at Helen Meyer Community Center. The preschool students purchased items with their homemade wallets, credit card and money.

Due to Water being shut off in the building Helen Meyer Community Center will be closed tomorrow, February 21st. We will reopen on February 22nd. We apologize for any inconvenience at this time.

Helen Meyer Community Center has a variety of classes for children 3 - 13 years old, with prices as low as $18 for 6 weeks. Tumble, roll, or dance your way in for more details!

Brian is the Recreation Program Supervisor at the Helen Meyer Community Center. Brian has been in the profession of Parks & Recreation for over 35 years and majority of that time serving as a Recreation Supervisor at Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma, Federal Way Washington Boys & Girls Club, City of Lynnwood Washington, Rancho Cordova Park District in California and has worked at Clark County Parks & Recreation since 2019. Brian received the honor early on in his career to be selected as National Recreation Parks Association Young Professional in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has worked within the preschool, youth, teens, seniors, youth, low-income families, and sports divisions of Parks & Recreation. His favorite portion of working in the field of Parks & Recreation is working with the dedicated staff which promote recreational opportunities for community members. Outside work, he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson, cheering on the local sport teams, and attending festivals and concerts.
