If you are new to DP, you may not have heard about this most magical time of year.
Basically, students are asked to make a wish that would make their winter season more enjoyable. Students ask for such a wide variety of things. Pencils all the way to $1M. The database of wishes is then shared with the staff who help fill or facilitate the granting of wishes. This is the 9th year doing Wishmas and each time brings surprises. Most years, we get about 1000 wishes and are able to grant 300 or so.
Rules for Wishes
#1 ⏤ Students get only ONE wish.
#2 ⏤ The cannot change their wishes once they are made.
#3 ⏤ Students can wish for yourself or someone else.
#4 ⏤ No wishes for cash. Requests for gift cards are allowed though.
