Easy sign board change out is just one reason I love chalk art ♥️

Took the sign I made for Mother’s Day, washed off “Mother’s Day”, and added “85th Birthday”. To make this sign fit for a special b’day celebration for one of our favorite Marine veterans, I chalked the eagle from our 4th of July collection to replace the frilly flowers. Hoping your day is as cheerful and colourful as my Mother’s Day raw veggie tray turned out 🥰

I fell in love with the veggie tray (bottom pic) that Shannon Mc Dade Spangler made and shared recently in a page we mutually follow. I just had to try my hand at making one for our Mother’s Day celebration. How’d I do?

My easy version of those viral floral sign posts I’ve been seeing lately. I’m no floral artist by far, but I think it turned out nicely for my first attempt. What do you think?

To make the words, I used the Serif Monogram Font stencil from my shop, some floral foam (secured to a piece of cardboard first, then to the board), and faux flowers. You could totally use your cricket and/or use fresh flowers 💗 to create for your own event.

Ahhhh, I’m in love with how this little project for my momma turned out ☺️! What do you think, and what colors would you have used?

Once fully dried, there was some minimal cracking of the clay in a few places. I’m guessing that won’t happen with resin (I’ll have to test that theory), but I honestly feel it kinda lends to the aged and antique-y feel of the finished piece.

The last picture is where it’ll hang in her bedroom. The flowers can be changed out seasonally, but thought we’d start with a classic look of white roses and a touch of greenery.

If you didn’t see the before pic, go check out my previous post. I can hardly believe the difference after adding some pretty clay moulds, paint, wax, and a touch of rub-n-buff. Bellísimo 💗

1st time using this mold I purchased last year. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏼that the pieces don’t slip as they dry. Ill post a pic after I paint it this week, and if all goes well, I’ll do a tutorial 😄

I pulled out one of my retired stencils and some coordinating colors to transform this cheap wooden round into something pretty and uplifting 🧚🏼‍♀️. What do you think?

So, I REALLY wanted to make the cute individualized cheesecake bites featured by Janine Graff (1st pic). I got all my supplies together, but didn’t have a biscuit cutter so I pulled out one of my spring cookie cutters… WHAT’s the difference, right? WRONG!!! It was a huge disaster 😩😬😆.

Not to be completely defeated, I salvaged the half of the cheesecake I cut up, and made some cheesecake bites in the shape of an egg (close enough 😜). To make them easier to pick up, I added some melted chocolate to the bottom of them to create a hard shell. Definitely not was I was going for, but it’s ok 😊. It’s just a reminder to myself that i don’t have to be perfect, I just need to keep trying my best 😉♥️!

Did any of you buy the plastic bunnys at the Dollar Spot? I picked up two, and used them as makeshift Easter baskets to tuck away a few goodies for my momma and my mil ☺️.

Here’s the before and after …. Once I filled them to the brim, I jazzed ‘em up with some festive ribbon, flowers & greenery, securing it all with a bit of hot glue. Whaddya think?

What I bought vs how I styled it 🌿🐇💗

Super cute the way they came. Still simple, but I wanted to incorporate a cross for Easter, and some greenery to compliment the napkin rings. Found the cross charms on sale at HL today.
