People always see how well I am doing as a lash artist and working for myself. The most common asked question is well how can I start doing lashes?! It's not something you do overnight or even for the money. You have to love it! I truly enjoy sitting with each and every one of my clients, and catching up. I love to witness them grow throughout time. While I'm listening and chiming in, I get to show my artistic side and give each and everyone one of those ladies a set of lashes that compliments their eye shape. It sounds simple, "let me just throw some lash extensions on her" but that's just not how it works. Every set of eyes are different, so what works for one doesn't work for the others. It takes time and practice, reading all the trends, researching the new guidelines and health codes, and investing into my future with classes and etc. It's a constant thing. There's no lazy moments, there's never a "I just don't want to go to work, I'm going to call out." But is it worth it?! Yes; every single moment of it but that's because I enjoy what I do. The ups and downs of it. So my suggestion is find what you love and go full force with it, don't give up and give your all because at the end of the day, you'll look back and say man that was so worth it just like I am today.

On the day, we celebrated Ariella Christine. The support I have gotten from my clientele and family is indescribable. I just want to say thank you so much to everybody who came and even the people who didn't get to make it and still are there for me.

To end that note, I am booked all out till She comes, I change my hours to Saturday through Tuesday 10:00am-6:00pm , due to stepping in and helping me out. Tis the season of Natural Lash Shedding.
Let's discuss what is a lash shedding?
Our natural lashes have 3 stages of growth: Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen.

1. Anagen is commonly known as the growth phase. Only 40% of the upper eyelashes are in active growth at any one time (only 15% of lower lashes are in active growth) This phase can lasts 30 – 45 days.
2. Catagen is the transitional phase. During this phase, the eyelash stops growing and the follicle shrinks. This can lasts 2 – 3 weeks.
3. Telogen is the resting phase. Your body goes through the most stress at this stage, where the fall out happens. This phase can last over 100 days until lash shedding happens.
Not every lash is in the same phase, they all go at their different rates of speed of shedding. Lashes are not forever gone, they do grow back. In some cases, Some clientele will have a slower lash cycle.

Eyelash Extension Take Care Tips.

- Do not perm or tint lashes after lash extension application.
- Do not use an eyelash curler to curl extensions. Not needed.
- Do not rub your eyes or lashes while washing your face. Gently clean around eyes with a wash cloth.
- Do not tug at lash extensions, it will pull out your own natural lash as well as extension.
- Avoid Saunas, Steam or high heat while wearing eyelash extensions.
- Use caution when cooking, open your oven door and release the excess heat before reaching inside, this may singe your extensions if you are not careful.
- Do not try to remove extensions on your own, contact me and I will remove them safely, without harming your natural lashes.
- Do not cut the extensions, it will leave uncomfortable blunt tips.
- Clean your eye makeup daily, but be gentle with your extensions.
- Remember to come in for regular touch ups, typically 2-4 weeks, with clean lashes.
- Never tug, twist, pick or pull extensions, avoid touching them as much as possible.
- Brush extensions with the spoolie given at each appointment.
- Try to sleep on your back or side, avoid smashing lashes completely as you sleep.
- When using night creams/serums, apply sparingly and blot off excess.
- When you touch your lashes, always use upward, sweeping motions - no side to side rubbing at the lash line.
- If needed, Use a lash sealer as a lash coating but if you choose to wear mascara, only apply it to the tips of the extensions and use water based mascara that washes off easily so no scrubbing needs to happens.

These are tips, that if followed, lash extensions will last longer then expected.
