Meet Kent, Teresa and Peter, they were in town with a big group of friends from the beautiful mountainous area around Banff, Canada. They've been making the yearly trek to Vegas for years now...this time, they wanted to ride bikes! They lucked out on the tables as well as hitting it big with the weather, it was a beautiful/steller day on the bike, so nice in fact, they are coming back in April! Cheers guys, can't wait to hit the road again! Cheers.

Meet Sal and Trish, they were in town celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary! Along with the other traditional Vegas attractions, they wanted to get out and explore Red Rock. Even with the threatening rain and severe winds, they wanted to brave the elements, after all, they live in Vermont - they said it was like a normal day on the bike! We barely made it through the loop before the rains came...we raced the weather and made it back in time. What a great time, they really enjoyed it and said they wanna come back! Cheers guys, congrats on the anniversary!

Meet Laurent, he was in town from Geneva, Switzerland for a convention and wanted to take a break and get a ride in the famous, Red Rock Canyon. I must say, that was one of the fastest loops I've done in years, I felt like we were racing, and seeing that I'm TWICE his age...it wasn't really a race!!! LOL
Back home he rides the beautiful Swiss mountains and was thoroughly impressed with the beauty and the steepness of Red Rock Canyon. When he's not busy with cyber security for banks, he's busy training to compete in triathlons. Good luck with your training, I hope all the hard work pays off. Cheers!

Finally some cooler weather

Meet Michelle and Kevin, they traveled across the pond (The United Kingdom) to celebrate their One Year Wedding Anniversary, in Las Vegas. During their Vegas stay, they wanted to ride the Red Rock Loop, the amazing/challenging part of the ride you say? Michelle mainly rides indoors, on her Peloton, she rarely rides on the road, so getting on a road bike was interesting to say the least, but after a few adjustments on the bike and about 10 or so minutes of riding up and down the street, she said she was ready. On the other hand, Kevin rides to work almost daily, he was ready to tackle the loop...off we went, Michelle was loving the beautiful morning temps and couldn't believe how scenic the desert looks early in the morning, the sun was breaking through the clouds, it was incredible morning. We all know the first 5 miles of the Loop is all climbing, she handled it like a pro! All smiles...stoping for photos and soaking up the views. I'm pretty sure they'll become repeat clients!

Also, they mentioned they were going to see the Killers in concert the following night, I hope that was fun as well. After their Vegas getaway, they were heading to Ireland, for a wedding (they are both Irish) with family.

Meet Ann, she's from the great state of Min-A-Soda...she flew out to Vegas (true story) just so she could hike up around the Mount Charleston area for the day. Her husband worked for Delta and she gets amazing flying privileges. Fly in, hike, spend the night and fly out the next morning-now, that's what I call a perk! She owns a Dance Studio and loves to hike and bike, this combination makes her strong on the trails, coming off my hike in Colorado, I thought I'd be keeping stride for stride with her...wrong, she's a legit hiker, almost thought we were trail running, lol The weather was fantastic and with a starting temp of 58', it made for a beautiful morning start, on our way down, it started to sprinkle a little and after that hard effort, the rain felt great. This is our 3rd hike with Ann (we love repeat clients) and we're looking forward to next years adventure! Cheers

Meet Edward, he's from The United Kingdom, he was in town attending a IT Conference, he works for a Real Estate Company in London, he LOVES data...numbers are his life, he's pretty damn smart too! We talked a lot about cybersecurity, he was telling me things that scared the holy crap out of me. He also attends the Black Hat Convention...hhhmmm! During one of his breaks from the meetings, he wanted to venture out to Red Rock Canyon, he requested one of my Strava rides to do a little recon. It was the perfect training ride he was looking for, of course he attacked the hills and made the ride a most memorable experience, he said it was a lot harder than he'd imagine, but loved it! Great job Ed, hope to see you next year! Cheers mate!

Meet Al, He came all the way from Arkansas, just to ride with cyclevegas.com...well, it's not entirely true...but 50/50 of the reason for his Vegas Vacation! He's a repeat client and loves the challenge of riding The Red Rock Loop, this was his 3rd time riding with CV and he's getting REALLY fast/strong...or, I'm getting older and slower...probably the latter! While we were riding, we came across the biggest tarantula spider I've EVER seen.
Also,he mentioned that after the ride, they were going downtown for some craft beers and food, I told him, they have to try Able Baker Brewery. They did, he said it was totally legit and he took home some swag! I hope they enjoyed the rest of their Vegas stay...see you next year Al, Cheers!

Meet Gioia and David from Syracuse, Ny. They were in town for a Health and Fitness Convention for a week, Gioia is a part time fitness instructor, her full-time job is working for a Federal Judge, she's an attorney. So while they were in town for the convention, they wanted their fitness plan to include riding the Red Rock Loop (again) they are repeat clients and enjoy riding the challenging hills. They love all what Vegas has to offer, especially the world class dining and one of their favorite meals was a breakfast burrito, David said it was amazing and it was bigger than his head - lol...looking forward to our next adventure! Cheers guys.

Meet the boys from from Milwaukee - No, they are not Brewers, but they do enjoy a beverage or two. I had the pleasure of meeting Cody and Greg, they were in town to have a guys weekend getaway....I think they were successful, I mean...we did get out and ride the most amazing ride in Vegas, the Red Rock Loop! They really loved the fact that Vegas has some of the most amazing cycling along with little, to no humidity, or mosquitos. If you've ever been back in the area, they have "EXTREM" bugs and moisture! I'm glad you guys enjoyed the day on the bike! Cheers, see ya next year?

Meet the Drouin family, born and raised in Quebec City, Canada! We have Pierre, his sisters Claudine and Lyne. They were in town doing a "Vegas" family holiday and wanted to ride Red Rock Canyon...because it's been awhile since they were on bikes (other than Claudine) they wanted to try the pedal assist bikes, well, it was a major success! We had a fantastic time riding the loop and enjoying the beautiful views and weather, hopefully they'll be back! PS - sorry it took so long to post our adventure, I was out of town! Cheers.

Meet Amir Ali - He was in town from Dallas, Tx with a buddy this past weekend, he wanted to get out early and see the sunrise in our beautiful Red Rock Canyon. Well, that didn't quite happen, but we had fantastic weather, no wind, not too hot to ride...and he had his first experience riding a pedal assist bike. The day was magical and spiritual, we took many photos and videos, he said he'll be back and the next time we're riding mountain bikes, no worries, we can make that happen. Meet the Burnett clan from Houston Texas, mom Carol (not the comedian) Brittany, Sarah and Heather. They were in town for their yearly girls trip, which included a trip to Zion as well. They rode bikes and hiked in Zion…and now they wanted to ride bikes at Red Rock, they were absolutely blown away with how beautiful and spectacular red rock Canyon is. What really won them over, was the weather, absolutely no wind or humidity! And everyone from Texas, knows about the humidity! Lol

Meet Brian and Megan Fisher, they are in town to attend a wedding. Megan wanted to show Brian some love, because he has been doing a lot of wedding type of events...so they wanted to get off the strip and see the other parts of Vegas. They both were blown away with the beauty and peaceful surroundings of Red Rock, so much that Brian and I went on a hike a couple of days later. The wedding was Friday, 04/15 - I hope the evening was fun and we get to see you guys on your next Vegas, holiday - Cheers!

Meet Alberto & Marcia Casz Pecegueiro, they were in town celebrating Marcia's 50th birthday! Venturing all the way from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil…they have traveled to Vegas many times in the past, however this was the FIRST time they ventured off the LV Strip. They were taken back by the beauty and challenging terrain of Red Rock Canyon, it was one beautiful day, the weather was incredible!!! Also, they said on there next trip to Vegas, another bike tour is going to happen. Later that night they were going to check out "Shin Lim" the magician that's all the rave right now, I'm sure it was a magical night! See you guys next time, Cheers and Happy Birthday!

Meet Bethany Sneed, she was in town from Huntsville, Alabama. She will be attending a convention this week and wanted to get a ride in before the hectic schedule begins. She's a Real Estate Attorney with a beautiful family, (we shared pictures) three little girls and a great husband - back home they like to run and ride the bike as often as they can, She said next trip to Vegas, she's going to bring her associates for a little tour. Meet Luis and Vicki Hernandez, they were in town from Houston, Tx for the weekend. They usually ride mountain bikes, but wanted to experience Red Rock Canyon, let's say, they were not disappointed - the weather was fantastic!
They visit Vegas a couple of times a year, they now have another reason to return...the cycling! It was a fast trip this time, next time they'll make more time to ride. I hope the birthday celebration was fun too! Cheers guys, see you in March!

Meet Mike and Steve, (The Jersey Boy's) they were in town attending a convention, they are starting a carwash company (one of many businesses) and while attending the convention, they also got to see Sting and ride the Red Rock Loop. These guys loved the tour, we also rode out to Cottonwood Station for lunch, it was the longest ride they've done in a long time, but they enjoyed the journey and thanked me for the training ride! lol Good luck with the new business venture boys!

Meet Lenny and Toni, they are in town celebrating Lenny turing 60! Happy Birthday Lenny. Part of the celebration was to ride bikes in Red Rock Canyon, they (like many) were amazed by the natural desert beauty, it was a spectacular day, no winds or heat, just a beautiful day on the bike, although they were affected by the elevation of 4,700'...seeing they live at sea level (Long Island New York) but it didn't stop them! I hope the rest of the birthday weekend was spectacular as well! Cheers guys!
