Here are some photos from last week’s meeting when we had our very own FMA alum, Chris Nealand! We had an amazing time learning about how being a UNLV student and FMA member helped him stand out amongst candidates when he was seeking a career in asset management and how it also helped him helped him have a successful career in the field!

He also brought with him other FMA alumni and former board members, Sean, David, and Jonathan! It was so inspiring to us how everyone has their own successful careers most especially because not that long ago they were where we are! 🫶🏼

Four of our FMA members made it to the finals and will be representing the Finance department and FMA at the Nevada Gold Mines Case Competition!

This was after a long day of (hanging out and) prepping 😂 We rewarded ourselves with some Vietnamese bbq and pho!!

Here are some photos from our last FMA meeting! Our guest speakers were David I. Garcia, CFP and Stephanie Mevius of JP Morgan Private Bank, located here in Las Vegas!

The meeting inspired so many of our members, and David’s team even informed us of the amazing and prestigious internship opportunities at JP Morgan! It was so rewarding seeing our students engaged not only with our guest speakers, but also with their peers! We LOVED seeing everyone interact with one another.

Had an amazing turnout during our last meeting with our co-advisor (and best Professor ever!!!), Howie Rhee, being our guest speaker! Everyone left the meeting so inspired!
