Home inspection time for my Buyer! Did you know that my home inspector flies a drone to safely inspect the roof for a 2 story home? It gets up close and personal with pictures and videos showing any broken tiles or poor drainage.

Another reason why it’s so important for Buyers to get a home inspection! This spinning water meter was noted on my Buyers home inspection report. The inspector stated it could be because of the pool pump running or a leak in the slab. I requested that the Seller hire a licensed plumber to confirm if there was an issue. Sure enough, there was a leak in the main line! 😳 Over $3000 repair that the Seller now has to pay! My Buyers feel so relieved that this was caught before they closed escrow! Mortgage Rates Drop Below Seven Percent

Potential homebuyers received welcome news this week as mortgage rates dropped below seven percent for the first time since August. Given inflation continues to decelerate and the Federal Reserve Board’s current expectations that they will lower the federal funds target rate next year, there will likely be a gradual thawing of the housing market in the new year.
