Our dental plans for state and local government employees have extensive coverage for preventive care. Sealants are a great way to prevent cavities in younger dependents. All EBF plans cover sealants on molars and pre-molars for dependents under 19. Stanley the seal recommends to keep brushing and flossing too! Make your appointments and keep on top of your preventive dental care!

Goodbye April, hello May! A new month comes with a clean slate, a chance for a fresh start and an opportunity to set new goals. May also means we are one step closer to the summer months! What do you have planned for May? Remember to check to see when you have your dental and vision appointments scheduled for you and your dependents! Keep Smiling.

Today is Solar Eclipse day! In New York the path of totality will be visible across 124 miles and 29 counties! There will be visibility across all regions but Reigons 5 & 6 will have the best view. Make sure to wear the proper eye protection and attempt to stay off the roads between 2-4pm!

Our team at the CSEA EBF would like to take a moment to wish all of our members, employees and colleagues a very Happy Easter! We hope you enjoy some sunshine, baskets filled with candy and homes filled with love. Do not forget to throw a toothbrush into those baskets! Remember to brush after a day of Easter basket goodies. Although it may not feel like it, today is the first day of Spring! Before we know it, we will be outside enjoying the fresh air and outdoor activities. If you have any questions regarding eligibility and submittals, please call 1-800-323-2732, option 5 to speak to your Member Services Department.

While we do not provide flowers or chocolate, we do provide providers and great preventative care for your dental and vision needs. Each region has there very own local government Sr. Benefit Specialist. Are you a New York State employee? Not too worry, we have two State Benefit Specialists for you as well! You most likely see The EBF at membership meetings and conferences, but our team never stops working behind the scenes to create the benefits you have access to. Phil the groundhog has spoken! New year but same great benefits...again! Normally Phil the groundhog will let the EBF and our members know if Spring will be early. The CSEA EBF travels to each region to meet all the members we serve state wide. When we are at these meetings, we are able to educate and inform the members on what has changed and how they can use the benefits they currently have to the fullest. We also are here to help with any questions or concerns anyone may have. Each region has a designated benefit specialist that helps to serve your dental and vision needs. The best part? Quick reminder for State CSEA Members! March is coming quick and that means the final deadline for Prescription Drug Co-Pay Reimbursement Claim Forms is around the corner. You must submit for your 2023 co-pays prior to March 31st, so make sure you mail in your form and itemized printout from your pharmacy.
