MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. Click the link in the bio to sign up to serve.

Happy Juneteenth! Juneteenth is the annual holiday recognizing the end of slavery in the United States. Although it is a celebration of freedom, it is also a time to critically reflect on history and the work that continues for racial justice and equality nationwide. Take some time today to increase your awareness about why Juneteenth is culturally significant, find Juneteenth celebrations, and to@learn how you can give back to organizations leading the way to racial justice and equality.
Prayers to the families grieving unthinkable loss.

It’s SAAM (Sexual Assault Awareness Month) Denim Day. What is Denim Day?
Denim Day is a campaign on the last Wednesday in April in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The campaign started as a result of a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court where a r**e conviction was overturned because the judge believed that since the survivor’s jeans were so tight, she must have helped her ra**st remove her jeans, thereby implying consent. The next day, all of the women in the Italian Parliament wore jeans to work the next day in solidarity with the survivor. Stop by Carey today until 1pm to pick up items to support this effort.
