On June 7, 2023, an incident happened at my home where we were at home, where a drunk driver sped up the street from our house into our driveway, hitting our tree, bouncing back onto the pavement, missing my mother's car & swerving over & hitting my car & pushing the parked car into our garage. During that moment, I stepped out of character due to just purchasing my car in April 2023 to continue to work. After calming down, I asked God Why Me? He immediately answered and told me why because this incident halted everything in my life except my love for God & my faith. 2 days later, one of my mentors spoke to me concerning some important decisions.

Two days after that, my spirit unctioned me to go deeper in my faith & my love for God which brought on a humbleness not to seek him for material things but to seek him for who he is to me . He became my Yahweh, My Jehovah Jireh, & My Abba Father. Several weeks later, during a worship service, my calling become evident leading my pastor to confirm what was on my life. After that, there was a conference where our dance ministry team was invited too to minister. Knowing I did not have any money, I told God, I'm going to this conference because I feel like there is something there for me & I feel that my car will be ready in time for this conference. So, I sowed into this conference by purchasing a ticket in faith.

Mind you, the conference starts August 10. I randomly get a call from the person's insurance company on August 4, after fighting with them for a month & a half on behalf of our damages. At this time, I have been without a car for 2 months now. The lady calls and asks did you get your check, I stated What Check? The Check for the damages, we sent it to the address on file and it was returned to our home office. I stated ma'am that is the wrong address. She then asks for the correct address, I stated we can come pick it up from your office. We pick up the check & deposit it. Mind you, this conference is coming up. August 6, Monday morning, I call the body shop to see if the car is ready, the lady states no ma'am your car is not ready, we are still waiting on more parts. I Sihh in disappointment. So, I had to make a decision, due to purchasing this ticket in faith. So, I started sending out texts to see who was going to the conference so I could get a ride to the conference.

August 10, the conference is here, & my mentor tells me, I could ride with them. Mind you, this conference is 3 hours away from me, & 5 hours from them and I tell them, I thought my car was going to be ready in time because I hate bumming rides. So, we all in the car, heading to the conference. Probably, an hour & a half into the trip, I get a call from my mother stating, the body shop just called, AND YOUR CAR IS READY TO BE PICKED UP!!! I said HALLIELUGH, PRAISE GOD!!! I say all this to say moral of the Story:

Obedience is better than sacrifice. Obedience is a submissive compliance which is surrendering your will to God and sacrificing means to give up & release something to the Lord that is valuable to us. Both of those is an expression of passion for God and each has an effect on our faith. Most often, we think we are waiting on the Lord to move in our lives, when the Lord is waiting on you to move your feet in FAITH. Had I not, surrendered to what the Lord was doing in my life instead of complaining about the situation and moving in faith to travel hours away from home to intentionally seek the Lord not for what he could give me but for who he is to me, I would still be bumming rides. In the midst of it all, I felt like Job when the Lord stripped him of everything, and he had only his worship & FAITH to depend on as well as praying for those who mistreated him.

God is a restorer to those who stewards by obedience, sacrifice, & faith. My bishop always asks us, How Bad Do You Want It? So, how bad do you want to see the Lord reveal & move on your behalf. Be intentional about what you say, because what you say is what you will see. So, I thank everyone who supplied me with a ride from church & to conferences. Just know your blessings are coming to you because you obeyed when you could have said no in a the time of need.

Esther Season: Esther 4:14; 5

Dear Sis,

If you feel uncomfortable during this season, it's not that your uncomfortable, you're transitioning. Transitioning into a new season where people are not going to understand what's on your life or the favor you obtain from the Lord. Esther chose to trust God & walk in the path that he chose for her. Instead of choosing fear, she chose prayer. She embraces uncertainty and fights for her people as well as choosing to do the right thing and using the influence she possesses to help others.

Kingdom Ministry is about reaching those who are down, lost, & broken to pulling them back up into a place where they too can use their influence to strengthen the next person. So Sis, if you're down, lost, or broken know that the Lord is speaking to you through an uncomfortable season, to transition you to your new position.

1 Peter 2:9 - But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his beautiful light.

IT'S TIME SIS, STEP OUT INTO YOUR PURPOSE
