OLYMPIC CHAMPION BILLY MILLS IS BACK to hand out finisher's medals at this year's BILLY MILLS 10K on October 13th (Sun., 8am)!

You NEED to do this event--you have 2 hours to walk or run Billy's Olympic distance on Haskell University's beautifully maintained cross country course. There's even a VIRTUAL OPTION for folks who can't attend in person.

Ad Astra Running has THREE FREE group runs/walks from the store each week--something for EVERYONE!

MONDAYS at 6PM is Ellen Young's Running for the Hill of It women's group run/walk, featuring gentle miles with the friendliest group in town. No one is "too slow" or ever left behind.

WEDNESDAYS at 6PM are Wednesday Walks led by Josh McVey, for anyone who wants to start walking for fun and fitness. This no-pressure group meets folks exactly where they are.

THURSDAYS at 6PM is the store's weekly group run/walk for all ages and abilities, featuring various distance options each week and special events like product test runs (shoe brands, accessories, etc.). All are welcome--you'll have fun!

The KC Metro Mile Championships will pit top talent from the area against each other in one of the best competitions of the year!

The KANSAS RELAYS 5K Presented by RCB Bank is this weekend, and we need volunteers both for packet pick-up on Friday, April 19th, from 3-7pm (or a portion thereof) at the store, and as course marshals on Saturday (meet at 6:30am at the concourse by the bleachers at Rock Chalk Park).
