Happy Father's Day to all of the dads! Wishing you all a wonderful day, especially our coaches and wrestlers who get to celebrate being an amazing dad today!
This year we are losing a core member of our program to a well deserved retirement. Gerry Green has been the Strength and Conditioning Coach for our team and entire athletic department for the last 37 years. We are so grateful for the impact he has had on our program and all the success he has helped us obtain.
We couldn't sent him onto his retirement without a piece of Rider Wrestling to take with him. Thank you Gerry and enjoy your relaxation.

Please join us in congratulating these Broncs on their graduation this past weekend! We are so grateful for what each of them has done to positively impact our program over the years. We are fortunate enough to have some of them returning next year and wish the very best to those who will be moving on.

The Fred Henson Award is given to the individual who continuously demonstrates hard-work and dedication on and off the mat. This year's recipient, Cole McComas, does just that. Cole has been a part of our program for four years and always puts his team first doing whatever they ask of him. He works hard in the classroom and in the wrestling room and we are grateful to have a student athlete like Cole.
l
The Mario Ianni memorial Award was created to honor a member of the team who goes above and beyond for his teammates. This year's recipients are Hayden Horsey and Richie Koehler who always put the team first! Hayden can be found spending his free time tutoring his teammates to help boost the team's academics. Richie can always be found motivating his teammates in the room or mat side cheering them on in their matches no matter the result of his own. These are two seniors the program will miss tremendously next year.

This year our Most Improved Wrestler is 157 pounder Colton Washleski. Over the past year Colton has jumped levels. Last year, Colton went 6-15 in competition. This season he had a record of 31-10 AND was a National Qualifier.

In the last 10 years the Broncs have produced 9 ALL-AMERICANS with 5 of them coming in the last 5 seasons. The program continues to grow and compete with the best competition we can get to assure there's a Bronc on the podium every year. We're grateful to have such great alumni support that comes back to cheer on new All Americans every year at that National Tournament.
