A Brush With Kindness: Home Transformation for Willie and Chanel
🕊️ As we reflect on thoughts of hope and renewal this weekend, we're excited to share a tale of love, resilience, and the incredible power of coming together. In our story, you'll meet Willie and Chanel, a couple whose home and quality of life were renewed with a little help from our community. 💚
Willie, an Air Force veteran, and his wife, Chanel, faced daily struggles in their home after Chanel suddenly became a wheelchair user. Faced with Chanel's mobility challenges, their home needed a transformation.
Through our A Brush With Kindness program and the tremendous support from our community partners, volunteers, and donors, like Bardi Heating and Air and Robinson Electric, we were able to turn their once-inaccessible garage into a fully equipped bedroom and bathroom, tailored to Chanel's needs for accessibility and comfort. 🛠️❤️
