In case you've ever wondered if the things that happen to your computers also happen to our computers, the answer is YES! I took my external hard drive out of the safe this afternoon to do a long-overdue backup and the minute I plugged it into the usb port, I knew it was failing. Fortunately, I have a copy of everything on my laptop hard drive. But this serves as a good reminder: always have 2 copies of your data, one on your computer and one on your external media or in the cloud. If you're using an external hard drive or flash drive, make sure that media is stored somewhere other than where your computer is stored. Good choices are at your office, in a fireproof safe, in your bank safe deposit box or at the home of a trusted friend or relative. Don't ever keep your backup in the same location as your computer because if there is a fire, flood, tornado or other disaster, you will lose both copies.

We have closed early due to a power outage. Hopefully, power will be restored in the next few hours and we will reopen at 9 am tomorrow morning.

Effective September 1, 2023, we are increasing our labor rate to $80. This is our first increase in 15 years and we did not want to do this, but the cost of running a business has increased dramatically. This is still a flat fee, NOT an hourly fee, so that has not changed. We truly appreciate all of our clients and will continue to meet your computer service needs to the best of our ability.
