Today is Melanoma Monday, and we're raising awareness about the most serious type of skin cancer. At Tieken Aesthetics, we prioritize not just beauty, but also health. According to the American Academy of Dermatology Association, in 2024 alone, over 200,340 melanomas will be diagnosed and approximately 8,290 lives will be lost to this disease. Here are a few ways you can reduce your chances of developing Melanoma:

1. Re-apply sunscreen every two hours to ensure continuous protection
2. Use sunscreen SPF 30 or higher for optimal defense
3. Seek shade frequently, especially during peak sun hours
4. Remember, UV rays can pe*****te through clouds, so apply sunscreen even on cloudy days.
