A beautiful bespoke artwork 'Words of Wisdom' using Hazrat Ali (Aleh Salam) qoute for a client's office. It is inspired by my own paintings "NURUN 'ALA NUR" نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍۢ Light Upon Light and Rumi’s ghazal Sufi painting. Persian inspired repeating intricate patterns with delicate, elegant floral motifs, combine with simple Kufic script background Allah, Muhammad and Ali.

This astounding artwork "Iqra" is a modernistic take on Arabic Calligraphy utilising the fusion of both the ancient art of Arabic Calligraphy and modern art by incorporating three classic elements of islamic art: calligraphy, geometry and floral arabesque patterns, with the modern contemporary art background. Its beautiful composition and exquisite luminosity are something that everyone can appreciate. It also evokes the sense of balance in viewers through a reconciliation of opposing forces that equilibrium or balance of elements is achieved in this artwork.
Geometric patterning allows viewers to reflect on life and the greatness of creation through its infinite and repetitious nature – a spiritual experience – also referencing Islam’s historical penchant for and skill in the science of geometry. This technique has also been applied to Arabesque, which incorporates floral motifs.
This Arabic calligraphy is the first verse that descended on the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
"إِقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ" Quran 58:19
(Iqra bismi rabbika lladhee khalaqa)
"Recite In the name of your Lord Who created."
The first revelation emphasise the value knowledge as a central facet of Islam. Islam urges the mankind to think, ponder, reflect and acquire knowledge that would bring them closer to God And His creation. This powerful verse inspire us to explore and apply that knowledge, values, and ethics in our daily life as our faith and world are deeply intertwined and they are inseparable.
