It’s been a while…solar screen season is upon us. We use Phifer products which is the best product on the market with the best warranty. I always like to remind my customers this time of year of some very valuable information. If your windows are under warranty and your solar screen installer drills into the window frame, you no longer have a warranty on that window. We are probably not going to be the cheapest but we put the customer first in every aspect. I have turned down multiple jobs over the years because the customer insisted I screw their screens into the window frame. The likelihood of busting the double pane seal and cracking the glass is high. We use PLYLOX hurricane clips to hold your screens in place. Easy on, easy off and NO drilling into the window frames. Here is a job we completed this morning. We also offer all interior window coverings excluding drapes…I’m not that desperate🤓 For the exterior, we offer solar screens and patio shades, manual or motorized. We installed these Motorized Norman Perfect Sheer Shades a while back. The customer wanted the lake view but also privacy. These shades will tuck up under the head rail when raised all the way. The headrail is approximately 3” tall. When you need privacy but want to keep the view, Norman Perfect Sheer is a great choice.
