For the first time in a quarter of a century, I have added a new technique to my office that is unlike any I have done before. I am doing Cranial Facial Release or balloon assisted cranial/facial adjustments during specific hours. The results are fascinating.

I have seen people with notable tremors diminish, radical changes in people's ability to breathe (some for the first time in decades through their nose!), facial deformities improve (see pics below, before and after 1 treatment), intracranial pressure and pain resolve, and sleep apnea/snoring issues resolve.

This certainly isn't needed for most people, but for those who struggle with specific issues, it has been a godsend.

I love seeing the most amazing improvements in my patients. About 6 months apart in these images. The one in the left is unhealthy breast tissue full of inflammation and increased metabolic activity. Case Study:

Chronic neck and shoulder pain is common in our culture. Sometimes seeing how your body adapts to a problem can help health care professionals alter and improve their intervention. In this image, you can see how the right (redder side) is inflamed and the muscles are overworking. Her pain is in her upper neck and right shoulder. Despite the best efforts from her health care professionals, she was not seeing the results of improved function. We were able to clearly show her where her problems were and make recommendations. Do you struggle with chronic pain? If so, a thermograph could possibly help your health care provider and you focus and find solutions for your problem.

If you haven’t heard, we have been offering thermography for nearly 6 months now.

What is thermography? Quite simply, it is a way of charting the body's temperature. Why is it important? It can be very useful in determining regions of the body that are working too hard or not enough by showing an increase or decrease in metabolic activity.

In the breast region, we can see "hot spots" that can be indicative of some pathologies - such as breast cancer or other problems.

The great thing about thermography is that it is non-invasive and completely safe.

THERMOGRAPHY DOES MORE THAN DETECT BREAST CANCER

Thermography is one of the most useful health assessment tools currently available, as it can identify temperature irregularities on the surface of the skin. This can provide a wealth of information, such detecting inflammation ― a possible indication of disease or pathology. When compared over time, thermography can assess the direction of one's health and medical choices. Although thermography has been practiced for over a century, our state-of-the-art technology continues to push it to new heights.

The versatility of this technology can be seen in this case study of aberrant posture. The thermal image is capturing a lateral thoracic translation, which is a displacement of the spine. The red color shows hyperthermia, or increased heat. This indicates biomechanical stress in the form of inflammation. Overall, this shows that medical thermography is an invaluable tool for detecting all sorts of things that may be wrong with the body, from cancer to musculoskeletal dysfunction.
