Cheers to a picture-perfect day on the greens at the 13th Annual McKendree University Bearcat Golf Tournament, held June 21st at Far Oaks Golf Club!

The Tournament was the largest fundraising event of the year for McKendree Athletics, with all proceeds directly benefiting the more than 900 student-athletes who proudly wear McKendree purple and white!

Same time next year, right?!

Last semester, McKendree students in Dr. Brittany Dobill's Advertising and Promotions class collaborated with local company — Lebanon Seibert Electric — to boost their marketing efforts. ⚡🔌

Working closely with the business to promote its generators, students created a comprehensive advertising campaign that included strategy development, advertisement creation, and implementation of social media campaigns.

Remembering all those who sacrificed for our freedom 🇺🇸

Congratulations to Maria Vitoria Salomao, winner of the 2024 Technos International Prize 👏👏👏

Salomao, an international relations major from Lagoa Santa, Brazil, received the annual award — which is presented by the Tanaka Ikueikai Educational Trust for outstanding academic achievement and a commitment to the cause of international understanding — during the undergraduate commencement ceremony on May 10.

Among her many McKendree accomplishments, Salomao served as captain of the women’s tennis team, president of the International Student Organization, president of the Student Government Association, and as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

ICYMI: Dr. Brian Frederking, professor of political science, received McKendree University's 2024 William Norman Grandy Faculty Award! The award is given annually to recognize commitment to students and the ideals promoted by the University.

Dr. Frederking earned his bachelor's degree from McKendree in 1990 and has been teaching at his alma mater since 1998.
