Today’s member spotlight Monday is Mekaela DeGuire! Mekaela’s major is Computer Science, and is a Sophomore at McKendree. Her hometown is Granite City, IL, where she graduated from Granite City High School. Mekaela is a Trumpet player in her second year with the program. When asked why she chose McKendree and the MBB, she said “I chose McKendree and the MBB because I value the feeling of family that they offer.” Playing at basketball and hockey games have been her favorite memories while being in the program, too!
