Special thanks to members of our team and Lebanon County's First Aid & Safety for presenting an informative session on "In Case of an Emergency" to a full Auditorium of residents. Key topics included medical emergencies, emergency response protocols, personal preparedness, evaluation by First Responders and our collaboration with Lebanon County's First Aid & Safety Team. We are delighted to see such a great turnout to this session allowing residents to feel more at ease, knowing their emergencies will be well managed by our health care team and Lebanon County's Emergency Medical Services.
FASP provider and school teacher Adam McKenney brought an intermediate ambulance in to show his engineering class at Palmyra Area High School some of our equipment and learn about what we do. Thank you Adam! We LOVE to showcase our capabilities and get students excited about serving their community!
ππ Happy 911 Telecommunicator Week! ππ
This week, we're sending a huge shoutout and heartfelt thanks to the unsung heroes who keep our community safe behind the scenes - our 911 telecommunicators! You're the wizards of the radio, the geniuses of the phone lines, and the calming voices in the storm.
To our telecommunicators: words can't express our gratitude for the incredible work you do day in and day out. You're the backbone of emergency services, the ones who turn chaos into order with skill, grace, and unwavering dedication.
Thank you for being the calm in the chaos and the voice of reason when chaos calls!
