Blouch Turbos building getting a makeover

Over the last few weeks we finally had an opportunity to do a little R&D work to test the limits on our 22 WRX. Never in my life would I have ever expected to see this kind of power out of a WRX with headstuds being the only modification to the engine itself. I can only imagine what these things will be capable of over time as more parts get developed.

Mods include:
- Headstuds
- Blouch Turbo 5356
- E50 + VP M1
- STI 6 Speed Swap

While we normally stay away these types of post, we thought it was too awesome not to share as it truly remarkable how robust this platform is. We will continue to monitor the vehicle for an extended period of time and do our best to provide you with updates.

Please be advised that pushing these cars to these limits comes with significant risks, it is not something we will be going to market with in the forceable future or atleast until other supporting modifications become available.

Meet Bob Blouch, owner and operator of Blouch Performance Turbo. Founded in 1980 by his father, Robert Blouch Sr., Bob joined Blouch Turbo in 1990 and spearheaded the development of bolt-on performance upgrade turbos for the emerging four cylinder sport compact market.
 
With a true passion for turbochargers, Bob continues to develop and manufacture custom performance turbo upgrades. You can find him daily at the BPT writing CNC programs and machining components in addition to administrative tasks.
 
His favorite things to do in his downtime is cruising with his wife Kelly in their twin-turbo ’71 Dodge Challenger and spending time with his family in Pennsylvania.

Where the magic happens. Each Blouch Turbo is machined in-house and hand built by a member of our team. Developing and building premier custom performance upgrade turbochargers since 1980.
