2024-25 School year is off to a great start!

We had a fabulous first day at school! We were so happy to see all of our Bulldogs. We hope you all have a restful night and can't wait to see everyone again in the morning.

Breakfast for Thursday will be Bacon, Egg & Cheese slider or Pop-Tart, fruit, and milk

Lunch for Thursday will be Chili, Carrots and Celery, fruit, Pimento Cheese or Peanut Butter Sandwich, and milk.

Welcome Back GES Bulldog Families! We are so excited to see our students on Wednesday, August 7.

Parent drop off will begin at 7:30 a.m. Please observe the traffic loop so that traffic doesn't get backed up onto the road.

Parent pick up will begin at 3:05 p.m. All GES students being picked up must have a pick up tag displaying the student pick up number in their car. If you need a tag, please stop by our school office.

If someone other than a parent/guardian is picking up a student, they must be on the approved list in Infinite Campus.

Also, we will not accept transportation changes over the phone. You must send a note with your student signed by the parent/guardian or stop by the school to make any changes. If you have any questions, please call our school 270-692-3223.

REMINDER: Our District Transition Day for students in kindergarten - 12th grade is Friday, August 2 from 8:15 - 1:00. This is an optional, modified school day so students can become comfortable with their school -- especially if they're transitioning to a new building -- learn important procedures, all while having fun. MCPS buses will run and students will receive breakfast and lunch. For questions about transportation, contact the MCPS bus garage at (270) 692-4150.

Transition Day does not include preschool students.
