This weekend we'll be at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire fir the annual Celtic Fling and Highland Games in our usual spot behind End Game Stage (see picture) as well as our usual booth at the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival. We had a fantastic time at River City Steampunk Expo and a soggy but wonderful opening weekend at the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival! Thank you to everyone who made these two shows possible and enjoyable; management, guests, volunteers, and patrons! WEEKEND TRAFFIC & PARK OCCUPANCY UPDATE FOR ROMANCE WEEKEND (OCT. 14 - 15)

🛣️ Traffic expected this weekend: This weekend expect traffic delays due to the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville. Travelers from west of the festival will experience the most delays along I-75, State Route 73, and State Route 42. Alternative routes are encouraged if traveling from Springboro, Lebanon, Xenia, or Dayton.

🚗 Parking lot closures: We are humbled at the number of people who experience the same magic of the festival that we do. However, that crowd of people can sometimes outpace the size of our parking lot. Moving forward for forecasted busier weekends, we will cap attendance and close our parking lot when it reaches capacity. Please keep an eye on our Facebook, Instagram, and website for notifications.

🚻 Restrooms: We have 25 more restrooms arriving for this weekend to help with the busier areas around the festival grounds. Please consider checking restroom locations towards the back of the park as they tend to be less busy. See our park map at renfestival.com/parkmap or our app for all restroom locations.

⚠️ About park and parking occupancy: We have real-time data from our on-site ticket booth as well as the number of tickets sold online. We also have real-time data telling us how many tickets have been scanned in for entry. We put all of this information together, and also use physical observation of the parking lot to determine how much time is left until the parking lot is full. Stay tuned to our socials and website to stay up to date on parking lot closure notices. The forecasted attendance meter on the website is the very best indication of what to expect for the upcoming festival day when planning your travel and visit.
