Well, here's what they mean:
Your DTI, or debt-to-income ratio, measures the percentage of your gross monthly income that goes towards paying off monthly debts reflected on your credit report. You can calculate this by dividing your total monthly debts by your gross monthly income. The lower your DTI, the less risk you pose to lenders when applying for a mortgage. As you being the mortgage process, talk to your lender about the DTI limits that are associated with the loan program that best fits you!
