Finished gluing up and spraying finish on these four pediatric tables last night and delivered this morning. Client is having the tops upholstered and I’ll attach them once they’re done. When finishing a project, lack of space is the main struggle. Then when it leaves your shop, it feels like there’s so much more room
Finished up getting this Halltree installed. Forgot to take pictures of the other one I installed last week. Right around school starting up I see several of these come in to help control everything.
Final touches on this laundry room build in. Thank you to our clients for letting us help transform another room in your home! And letting me play monster trucks with the kids while stuff dried 😂
Just finished up installing this bar. Black cabinets with the knotty alder butcher block top and overhang on the back side for seating. Just in time for football season too! Go
This is glue ups. It’s proof you can never have enough clamps. More space is something I dream about regularly as well. Some day we will get there but grateful for what I do have and the ability to make this my full time job.
The first countertop is in final glue up and the first of three sections of the second countertop is in its first. I’m going to glue up the second two sections tomorrow and then get the final glue up in clamps so that Sunday or Monday I can sand, cut to size, and prep for finish.
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Decided to get started on assembling the cabinets for this bar. Doing black cabinets and knotty alder butcher block again for this one. Seems to be a favorite for everyone. Great rustic look and friendly cost.
Need to finish two doors for the top center section still in these laundry room built ins. Other than that, they’re ready to be painted on Monday.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Little today with a mixture of two jobs in progress since both involve some cabinetry. First group is some laundry room built ins that I’m installing in the upcoming week and a bar in the works.
Working on some vertical rifle storage for a friend. This is one of two and I just need to add the front and the barrel grooves. 5’x5’.
Vanity installed. Should have pictures soon when the countertop gets put on. Now time to relax and enjoy the holiday weekend
Walnut vanity is ready for install
Thank you to our amazing clients who trusted us to tackle their kitchen cabinets part of their renovation! I can’t wait to see the next steps of the renovation and go from complete demo inside to you guys moving in.
First day of install is in the books! Should finish up tomorrow on this full kitchen. Seems like the weather is always the hottest on install days. Gotta cut the holes for the range lines and then attach these cabinets and install the above the fridge cabinet. Then it’s putting the doors back on and trimming everything out.
This is the cabinet that the range will be installed in along with a pull out storage to the left. Instead of a false front above the drawers we elected for a drop down door for easy access when installing the range and if the client ever needed under there in the future. We also added the doors and pulls to the upper cabinet.
Out of town for the weekend so figured I would share some pics of the cabinets. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
Here’s a look at the cabinet for the farm house sink going in this kitchen I’m finishing up. I’ll have more pictures of some of the other cabinets in the next day or so since I have to bring them back out to the shop one or two at a time. To maximize space, we built several cabinets as one in multiple places so I can’t fit them all in the shop at the same time. We’re almost there!
Whether you’re looking for a single piece of furniture or completely transforming an entire room, we can build it for you! What can we build for you?
Little before and after of the room transformation on the built ins we finished installing last week. Completely new room!
The built ins have been painted! This is one of those projects that turned out better than I thought it would. Cabinets on both sides with book shelves above, bench with storage, and cubbies above the bench for even more storage! The white oak was finished with the same finish they used on the floors to match and then a last minute change in color for the paint really brought this thing to life.
Finished up the trim today. The painter will be there next week to finish it off. Love how it turned out
Finishing up these built ins. Just gotta go back to finish trim and caulk. I’m feeling it tonight but loving how it’s turning out. And it’s been a fun week working with them.
Just got this all installed for a buddy in my networking group. They elected to paint it after installed. Now this small bathroom finally has some storage. Down low is a tilt out hamper bin and up top is more than enough for all the towels and then some.
Client is finally getting settled in their new apartment in downtown kc. She sent me pictures yesterday now that the apartment isn’t full of boxes. We installed this island a little over a week ago and are truly excited with how it turned out. Top is birch butcherblock to match the wood in the rest of the apartment. And the relationship we built with our client throughout the process!
This 7’x3’ island is ready to head out tomorrow morning for install. These black bases have been popular lately. This one has open shelving on the front and open seating on the opposite side. Birch butcher block top. Paint and wood type matches the rest of the apartment. I’ll post some pictures once it’s all setup!
Got a small bathroom storage solution in the shop today. Base cabinet with a tilt out hamper and upper cabinet for storage. Face frames are in glue up and door pieces ready for the router table tomorrow.
Out of the clamps, cut to size, and lots and lots and lots of sanding. This birch will start getting finish applied tomorrow!
Saturday we got through the first rounds of glue ups on this 7’x3’ birch butcher block countertop. Now it’s time to flatten each of these and start the final glue up. It’s going to be beautiful and boy is it getting heavy!
Our cheap swingset is falling apart and probably going to build a new one but with much better materials. Would anyone be interested in something like that if I added that to my business? Especially if you didn’t have to put it together
