With the early November date for the event, we had to choose the September/October issue. The $1,000+ in Door Prizes has quickly changed to more than $2,300 (and growing!). Exciting for our shoppers!

Excited for this one! We've been trying to do some shows in this area for a while!

We wanted to update you on some exciting news!

First, we will be participating in the Orange Beach Freedom Fest again this year and can't wait to see many of you during that event!

Second, we applied for the Shrimp Festival but were waitlisted 😢

BUT because SO many of you have asked us to be there for it, we have decided to join forces with a friend who owns a business approximately 4/5 miles from where the Shrimp Festival is taking place and set-up during the same time!!

So, while we didn't get into the Shrimp Festival this year, we will be set up in the area while it's happening.

We are still working out all the details so I won't give them now.

We are in need of a little help to bring it all together:

If you know of any other vendors who have been waitlisted or would be interested in setting up with us, please give them this info and ask them to reach out ASAP!

We are only looking for 5 or 6 other vendors to join us as that is all that we have room for.

We are planning to run the same days and similar hours as the Shrimp Festival:
October 10, 11, 12, 13 (Thursday - Sunday) 9am - 6pm each day.
(May close earlier on Sunday depending on traffic)

We are trying to keep the booth fee under $100 for all 4 days since we aren't trying to make money off of this, just trying to cover the cost of renting the porta-potties, signage and advertising.

Todd and I will be staying onsite overnight to provide security for the booths once they are set up.

The location is in Foley, RIGHT on Hwy 59.
I am told that 40,000 vehicles pass in front of this business every weekday so we are expecting a good amount of passersby on top of those who will know we are there already.

It had to happen sooner or later!

Todd Eilskov and I Kara Eilskov have been so very blessed with good, if not great weather for most of the shows we've done over the last couple of years so how can we complain when we get stuck in a downpour!?

Todd is soaked to the bone and I slipped and fell in the mud, of course!

With the mannequins arms that fell off trying to get them in from the rain, it looks like a crime scene around here with body parts on the ground! 😂 LOL

So bummed to announce that we have been wait-listed for The Annual National Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores this October.
😭😭😭
Bummed, but we will keep applying!!

In the meantime, does anyone have suggestions for other festivals or events happening in that area?

Hopefully we will be at The Freedom Fest at The Wharf in Orange Beach again the weekend before but would love to find something else in the area for the following weekend.
