Visit the Law Library in September & October and enjoy the painting of Dipali Rabadiya. She is an oil painter and also teaches a variety of classes for all skill levels. She paints in bold and spontaneous brush marks and uses the "alla prima" technique, which involves wet-on-wet painting usually in one sitting.

Maker Monday at Sterling Library: A patron walks into a makerspace and asks to embroider a music shirt. The staff says, "No treble at all!" If you'd like help with a particular machine, you can make a one-on-one appointment with a trained staff member at Rust and Sterling libraries at https://buff.ly/3HrAbSg. Appointments aren't necessary to use the space!

Maker Monday at Brambleton Library: Over the summer, string quartet Maestra Ensemble () came to use the Recording Studio! They recorded nine tracks in a few hours as well as some video footage that they plan to edit with the Makerspace's Adobe Premier license.

The staff who assisted them noted, "All members of the ensemble are teachers, so it was great to see them working on their own music after spending the year inspiring others!"
