Hey everyone! Summer is here, and that means more time in the pool! ποΈ While swimming is a fantastic way to stay fit and have fun, it's important to protect your ears from potential damage. Here's why and how you can do it:
π£ Why Consider Custom Swim Molds?
πΉ Perfect Fit: Custom swim molds are made to fit your ears perfectly, providing a secure and comfortable seal.
πΉ Enhanced Protection: They offer superior protection against water intrusion compared to standard earplugs.
πΉ Durability: Made from high-quality materials, custom swim molds are durable and long-lasting.
πΉ Comfort: They are designed for prolonged use, ensuring comfort without irritation.
π£ Why Protect Your Ears?
π§ Prevent Swimmer's Ear: Frequent exposure to water can lead to swimmer's ear, an infection of the outer ear canal.
π§ Avoid Infections: Water trapped in your ears can create a breeding ground for bacteria, leading to painful infections.
π§ Protect Your Hearing: Repeated ear infections can potentially lead to long-term hearing damage.
π£ Tips to Protect Your Ears:
β Use Earplugs: Invest in high-quality earplugs designed for swimming to keep water out.
β Dry Your Ears: After swimming, gently dry your ears with a towel and tilt your head to drain any trapped water.
β Avoid Polluted Water: Swim in clean, well-maintained pools to reduce the risk of infections.
Protect your ears and enjoy a worry-free swim! πββοΈπ¦ Ask your audiologist about custom swim molds today!

Several agencies, including ours, have recently received an influx of fraud cases that appear to be similar in circumstance.
The suspect(s) in these cases appear to be targeting elderly individuals. However, it is possible they are targeting anyone/everyone.
**They call you, disguised as an attorney who is representing your loved one who was involved in a motor vehicle accident and is in jail. They know the loved one BY NAME, making it more convincing. They may even have you speak to someone who you think is your loved one.
They then tell you to retrieve a large sum of money from your bank where a "courier" or an individual in a vehicle goes to your residence to pick up the money. π«π«
Additionally, the suspect(s) will tell you that more money is needed after receiving the first sum of money due to your loved one receiving additional criminal charges. π¨
The process continues to repeat itself until the victim realizes that they are a victim of fraud.**
Our department, along with others, are working diligently in trying to solve these cases. However, we hope that advising you of this scam will prevent anyone else from becoming a victim. Check on your family members to ensure they are not victims as well.
